The annual conference of the International Society for Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR, http://ismir2018.ircam.fr) is the world’s leading research forum on processing, searching, organizing and accessing music-related data. The ISMIR Conference provides a meeting place for the discussion of MIR-related research. Its main goal is to foster the exchange of ideas across disciplines by bringing together researchers, developers, educators, librarians, students, and professional users.

The 19th International Society for Music Information Retrieval Conference took place in Paris, France, from September 23-27, 2018, with more than 430 participants.

FuturePulse partner, CERTH, presented VenueRank, an algorithmic approach to estimate artist popularity by identifying venues that contribute to it.
