On July 3^rd 2019 our partner Musimap represented FuturePulse at the Wallifornia MusicTech conference in Liège, Belgium!

The conference brought together more than 200  key professionals of the music industry, from music artists, labels, agents and festival organizers, to researchers, gamers, musictech start-ups and investors.



We were inspired by:

• Ted Cohen, famous producer and music industry advisor, hosted a panel / peer to peer session about the music industry's future.
• Amelie Anglade and Ryan Groves, Data Science consultants, gave an introduction of how to build Artificial Intelligence systems for music data problems.
• Susanne Hollmann introduced the Music Moves Europe initiative.

 
During Wallifornia MusicTech, professionals visiting our booth had the opportunity to get in touch with Musimap, and understand why our project’s new capabilities will make music distribution more effective and profitable.



Some Highlights from Wallifornia MusicTech:

• The conference featured interesting keynotes, such as John Acquaviva, DJ, producer, investor and co-founder of Beatport, who also stopped by our booth to get a demo.
• Hugues Vinet, research director at IRCAM, presented research highlights for the future of music and included FuturePulse in his presentation.
• Mood playlist startup Alissia Music, Muuselabs, a company that creates children's music tool Jooki, PXL, a Belgian University of Applied Sciences with a focus on music management and LABA and European financing advisory company, had the chance to learn about the latest developments in our project, including live demos with our sophisticated analytics and predictive modelling services.
